FAQs
General
Who administers the infusions?
All treatments are delivered by qualified healthcare professionals, with appropriate clinical and prescriber oversight where required. Every appointment includes a health screening, vital signs check and clinical suitability assessment before treatment.
Do I need a consultation before my treatment?
Yes. Every appointment includes a health screening and consultation with a clinician. Your clinician will review your medical history, current medications, allergies and treatment goals, and check your vital signs, including your blood pressure, before treatment. If a treatment is not clinically suitable for you, we will explain why and, where appropriate, suggest an alternative.
What does the health screening involve?
Before your appointment, you will complete a confidential health questionnaire covering your relevant medical history, current medications, supplements and allergies. Your clinician will also check your vital signs, including your blood pressure, before treatment. This information is reviewed as part of your clinical suitability assessment.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
Our clinician will discuss your goals and individual needs with you during your consultation and advise you on the most appropriate treatment. Treatments are only provided where they are considered clinically suitable.
IV Infusions & Treatments
What is an IV infusion?
An IV infusion delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream through a small cannula placed into a vein.
What happens during my IV infusion?
Your appointment begins with your health screening and clinical consultation. Your clinician will check your vital signs, including your blood pressure. If the treatment is suitable, a small cannula will be inserted into a vein and your infusion will be administered while you relax comfortably. You will be monitored by our clinician throughout your treatment.
Does an IV infusion hurt?
You may feel a small pinch or brief discomfort when the cannula is inserted. Once in place, the infusion should generally be comfortable. Mild bruising or tenderness around the insertion site can occasionally occur.
How long does an IV infusion take?
Most infusions take approximately 30-60 minutes, although this can vary depending on the treatment and individual circumstances. NAD+ treatments can take considerably longer, and your expected treatment time will be explained during your consultation.
Will I feel anything during the infusion?
Everyone responds differently. You may notice a cool sensation in your arm while the infusion is being administered. Your clinician will be available throughout your treatment and will monitor how you are feeling.
Can I choose which infusion I have?
You can discuss your goals and preferences with our clinician. However, all treatments are subject to a clinical assessment and will only be provided where they are considered suitable for you.
Are IV infusions suitable for everyone?
Not necessarily. Certain medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy and other individual circumstances may mean that a particular treatment is not appropriate. This is why we carry out a clinical consultation, health screening and vital signs check before treatment.
Can I have an infusion if I take medication?
Please tell us about all medications, supplements and relevant medical conditions during your health screening. Your clinician will assess whether your chosen treatment is appropriate.
What happens if I feel unwell during my infusion?
Please tell your clinician immediately if you feel unwell or experience any unusual symptoms. Your treatment can be paused or stopped and you will be assessed by the clinical team.
